Bean clinches title for 2014

Bean clinches title for 2014

11th December 2014

It was not until the final round at Blyton that the 2014 MSA Suzuki Swift Junior championship was settled. A season long battle between Charlie Bean and Drew Bellerby went the way of the former after some great performances by all the Juniors contesting the title this year.

With rounds at Lydden, Pembrey and Croft through the year, it ended up being a winner takes all at Blyton circuit in Lincolnshire for the pair.

It was battle once again in the heats leading up to the final, where Bean was on Pole with Jake Taylor alongside. Bellerby had managed to hold a spot on the second row alongside Jennie Hawkes.

Bean started well, and took an early lead, battling with Taylor and held on to win from Taylor and take the title.

A delighted Bean said “It has been a great battle all year with all the Juniors and I am delighted to win. The competition has been great, and Rallycross is the perfect sport to compete in.”
