  • Fuel partnership with Vital Equipment

A refuelling zone and single fuel supplier will operate at all rounds of the Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy. Vital Equipment will dispense Carless racing fuels directly into competitors cars, either by a dry break coupling system, or by way of a normal forecourt system. If you have any questions please contact Vital Equipment.

Two types of fuel will be available:
Carless Hiperflo Super Plus (98 octane) £1.99 per litre + VAT
Carless Hiperflo Turbo DEV2 (102 octane) £4.65 per litre + VAT

No other fuel can be used and all cars will be refuelled in the refuelling zone by Vital Equipment.

    Fuel Analysis
Fuel samples will be taken during selected events of the Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy.

    Fuel Ordering
A simple fuel order form will be available from the Vital Equipment website. Alternatively orders can be made by phone on 01981 241169. In either case the ordering deadline is noon on the Monday prior to each round. All fuel ordered must be paid for prior to delivery. In the event that a competitor has not ordered enough fuel Vital Equipment will have a small number of spare cans available at each round, on a first come first served basis.

    Fuel Delivery
Fuel will be delivered into each circuit early morning on the first day of each round, in plenty of time for competitors to refuel their cars.

    Refuelling zone
Vital Equipment personnel will be responsible for overseeing the refuelling area during each round and will provide shade/cover for the fuel, both foam and dry powder fire extinguishers, plus spillage flooring for the cars to use while refuelling.

    Refuelling Zone Speed Limit
The speed limit in the Refuelling Zone will be 5mph

If you have any questions about the supply of fuel please contact: Alistair Roberts at Vital Equipment alistair@vitalequipment.co.uk 01981 241169

  • How to get started in rallycross

Competing in rallycross depends on many factors: Can you build and run your own car? How much can you spend? How much time do you have? Do you want an 'arrive-and-drive' arrangement?

This quick guide takes a look at three categories that offer perhaps the easiest way to begin – and the only way for Junior drivers (14 to 16-years-old).
