British Rallycross 2016 Calendar Announced
The dates are as follows:
Round 1 Croft – 6th March
Round 2 Lydden – 27th/28th March
Round 3 & 4 Pembrey –1st/2nd May
Round 5 Maasmechelen – 16th/17th July
Round 6 Lydden – 29th August
Round 7 Pembrey – 25th September
Round 8 Croft – 22nd October
The 2016 Championship will again visit each of Croft, Lydden and Pembrey twice with a mid season visit to Belgium. Following the successful visit to Mondello in 2015, the championship this year will run its overseas event at Maasmechelen which is just 15 kilometres north of Maastricht. In a reciprocal arrangement, the Belgian Championship will be attending the traditional Easter event at Lydden Hill with the anticipated entries meaning two days will be required to fit an expected bumper entry.
The season ending MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix will be held immediately after the final Championship round Croft on Sunday, 23rd October 2016.
