Supercar Rallycross Start at Lydden Hill Race Circuit

5 Nations BRX reveals new-look Supercar Teams’ Championship with significant financial reward

12th March 2025

Supercar competitors in the Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy will battle for more than just honours in the Drivers’ Championship in 2025, the series reveals today.

Introduced in 2023, the Supercar Teams’ Championship will be boosted this season by the incentive of the first significant financial reward within domestic rallycross in the 21st century.

Each team in the Teams’ Championship will comprise of two cars, with each team car paying an entrance fee of £2000. The title-race from the 11-round campaign across England, Ireland, Wales and France will include a dropped score, with the winners of the Teams’ Championship claiming the total value of all of the entries in a winner-takes-all scenario.

Multiple teams have already committed to the concept, and will be announced in the coming days and weeks.

The Team RX Racing squad has claimed back-to-back 5 Nations BRX Supercar titles in the last two years, and will be crowned for the 2024 title at the 5 Nations BRX Night of Champions on April 19th.

Drew Furlong, 5 Nations BRX Championship Manager:

“Teams are such a big part of any motor racing series, and we’re delighted to increasing the awareness of teams within 5 Nations BRX Supercar this year. The teams are not just about the drivers in the cars, it’s about all of those working behind the scenes to achieve the best results possible at all times and there will be a lot more to fight for in Supercar this season. We have some new-look teams for 2025 and we can’t wait to reveal who is going to take part.”
