Dubourg to make 5 Nations BRX debut at Lydden Hill fireworks finale in 208 Supercar

3rd November 2025

French star Andrea Dubourg will make his Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy debut at the Lydden Hill fireworks finale this weekend driving a DA Racing Peugeot 208 WRX [November 8-9].

The winner of the French Rallycross Championship event at the legendary Loheac in France in August – where 5 Nations BRX Supercar runners also took part – Dubourg is a multiple FIA European Rallycross Championship podium-finisher and Andros Trophy ice racing series event-winner.

Having only made one start as a driver this season, the Frenchman has worked with the DA Racing squad’s line-up of drivers throughout the year, and joined 5 Nations BRX championship leader Derek Tohill at the opening round of the series at Lydden Hill, Tohill racing a 208 WRX for the first time in 2025.

Now, fresh off the back of the DA team winning the final round of the French RX series at Dreux with Formula 1 commentator Julien Febreau, Dubourg will join Tohill behind the wheel for the final event of the year.

“This year we had the pleasure of working with Derek Tohill, who entrusted us with the acquisition and operation of the 208 RX1 developed by DA Racing. Our collaboration allowed us to put together an ambitious program that now puts him in contention for the 5 Nations BRX title. I came to Lydden Hill at the beginning of the season and particularly enjoyed the atmosphere of this race, one of the sport's iconic circuits, alongside Lohéac and Höljes. This final round at Lydden Hill, with two races on the program, came at the perfect time in the calendar,” said Andea Dubourg.

“This will be my second race of the season after my victory at Lohéac. Lydden Hill is a unique circuit with very fast sections that allow you to exploit the full potential of the DA Racing 208s. I'm really looking forward to returning to the Lydden Hill track to face some stiff British competition. The main objective of the weekend will be to have as much fun as possible behind the wheel.”

Tickets for the fireworks finale, which features the Saturday Supercar final under the floodlight cover of darkness before the firework display, can be found here.
