The car that won the first ever rallycross event, a Porsche 911 driven by Vic Elford at Lydden Hill, will be one of the stars of the show at the MSA British Rallycross Championship’s Night of Champions in February.
Chronomoto, the company that provides timekeeping and results services for the FIA World Rallycross Championship, has been appointed to provide a similar role in the MSA British Rallycross Championship in association with ODYSSEY Battery.
Sittingbourne’s Darren Scott will race a Citroen C2 in the MSA British Rallycross Championship in association with ODYSSEY Battery next season, in the front-wheel drive Super1600 category.
MSA Junior Rallycross Champion Sam Jones will move to the MSA Supernational Rallycross Championship full-time in 2018, in a front-wheel drive Suzuki Swift, and may race the new car in the latter part of next year.
Double X Games gold medallist Liam Doran (Dolton) won the Procters Coaches MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix at Croft Circuit, by leading the six-lap final from lights to flag (October 23).

Irishman Ollie O’Donovan (Iver) won the final round of the MSA British Rallycross Championship in association with ODYSSEY Battery at Croft Circuit (October 22) to claim second overall in the 2016 championship standings.

The 2017 MSA British Rallycross Championship in association with ODYSSEY Battery will feature a double-header event at Mondello Park in July, at the mid-point of a nine-round calendar.
