MANCHESTER, UK, (Mar. 27, 2014) – EnerSys® (NYSE: ENS), the global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications, and the British Rallycross Championship announced today a season-long agreement naming EnerSys as an official sponsor to the 2014 MSA British Rallycross Championship. In addition, the ODYSSEY® battery brand will be the primary sponsor for all teams competing within the 2014 MSA British Rallycross Championship Supercar classification.
After some frustrating delays, Team Chicken has finally taken delivery of its new Citroen C2 S1600 Rallycross Car, built and prepared by Championship Winning Rallycross Team MB Motorsport (Jarrow) and head for Lydden Hill.
The LD Motorsports World RX Team has confirmed that double European Rallycross champion Derek Tohill and Polish national Super1600 Champion Krzysztof Skorupski will be joining its team for the 2014 season. Both Tohill and Skorupski will be driving LD Motorsports prepared Citroen DS3s, in the Supercar category, and racing for the LD Motorsports World RX Team.
With only a few days to go until the first round of the British Rallycross Championship in association with The Shannon Group, the Mullen Motorsport team have been busy doing the final preparations for the trip down to Lydden Hill, Kent.
It has been confirmed and announced today that The Shannon Group will partner this years MSA British Rallycross Championship and become title sponsor for the six round series.

The organisers of the 2014 MSA British Rallycross Championship have today announced that the first round to take place at Lydden Hill next weekend will be streamed “Live” via the British Rallycross website. This is in conjunction with the previously announced coverage on British Eurosport HD and Premier Sports that will feature after the event.
