Van Den Heuvel enters 5 Nations BRX finale with Scirocco Supercar
Dutch Champion Tom van den Heuvel will return to the Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy for the 2026 season-finale at Lydden Hill [November 7-8].
Having switched to rallycross in 2024, the former Dutch Autocross title-winner made his 5 Nations BRX Supercar debut at the same event 12 months ago, racing a Marklund Motorsport-built Volkswagen Polo. He will return next month with a Kristoffersson Motorsport-built Volkswagen Scirocco, formally raced by drivers like Johan Kristoffersson, Ramona Karlsson and Dan Oberg.
Van den Heuvel has secured both the Belgian and Dutch Supercar titles with the car this season, and returns to Lydden Hill looking to build on an impressive performance last November, where he took on far more experienced Supercar opposition.
Fifth in both rounds at the Fireworks finale last time round, RallyX Open4WD Am final winner Van den Heuvel set a best qualifying time of third overall in the dry conditions of the final day of the year and will be hoping for more of the same next month, against a growing field of Supercar opponents.
Tickets for the fireworks finale, which features the Saturday Supercar final under the floodlight cover of darkness before the firework display, can be found here.
